Being a Columbus, Ohio wedding photographer, I know well that winter is not typically considered the most beautiful season in our area – but you would never guess that Megan and Jacob’s timeless wedding was captured in December! I recently had the pleasure of photographing Megan and Jacob at the Everhart Gathering Place in Nevada, Ohio. Nestled in a quiet little town, this venue is a gem with a cabin for getting ready, a stunning glass greenhouse for the ceremony, and a seperate modern building for the reception.
The couple had a perfect timeline that lead to a spaced out, easy-flowing day. They decided to not do a first look, but we still had plenty of time before the ceremony to take the bridesmaid and groomsmen photos. 15 minutes before Megan walked down the aisle, the two shared a private first touch where they read out their love-filled vows.
Megan wore a gorgeous dress by Belle Amour Bridal and had her makeup done by Beauty By O. Their reception dinner was provided by All Occasions Catering while Jane’s Cakes and Confections created their desserts. Finally, their dance floor was kicked off with Two Big Guy’s Entertainment as their DJ! I am so grateful to have photographed Megan and Jacob’s wedding day, each moment was filled with so much love which made it a day I will not easily forget. Cheers to the Harris’s!
