I am a chai tea lover, avid hiker/traveler, and part-time illustrator and printmaker living in the suburbs of Columbus, Ohio - but mostly a full time wedding photographer. Growing up I was always obsessed with cameras, getting my first when I was just 6 years old (after begging my parents)! I started taking portraits of my friends in high school and quickly realized this was the path for me, and went to OSU to get a degree in photography in 2018.
In 2020 I decided to pursue wedding photography as my full time job, and have never looked back since! 4 years later and 60+ weddings under my belt, I've never been more thankful for this life and the amazing opportunities and people I have gained from it.
On October 1st, 2022, I married my partner of 7 years near our hometown in Bellville, Ohio! Evan and I met in high school in 2015 in marching band - he was a percussionist, I was in colorguard. We have been best friends since that year, and I am so thankful to have him by my side.
In 2020 we adopted out first pet together, our little pomeranian Rue! She is the sweetest little furball who loves to take photos (thankfully). We "adopted" a kitten named Bonsai later that year (aka I found a kitten alone on the side of the highway and took her home). I love our little family of 4 and can't wait to see where life brings us next!
After I got married, I saw a new perspective on weddings I never had before. Although the classic portraits of you and your spouse are important - so are the little things. The signs I diy'd after long hours of work, my mother-in-law setting up the most beautiful charcuterie board for cocktail hour, my best friend fixing my veil to make sure it's not crooked, the flowers my bridesmaids had put together for table centerpieces the night before, and so many more.
These were the photos that let me relive the day; the ones that made it feel so real and tangible. It is this understanding of storytelling that I use to create a wedding gallery - to let each photo retell the day in a way you can hear, smell, taste, and feel.
