Imagine this: you get engaged to the love of your life, begin planning your wedding, and you believe you find the venue of your dreams… only, as of right now, the venue doesn’t exist and is just a plot of land. Do you take the risk, book it based off of some 3D models of the vision?
Well, that is exactly what Caitlin and Ashwin did – and boy did it pay off. White Willow Meadows, located just 30 minutes southeast of Columbus, Ohio, had their grand opening in April of 2024 – just 6 months before their wedding date. This stunning, brand-new venue is a bride’s (and photographer’s) dream – bright, open interiors with large windows, outdoor garden spaces and a covered patio, several getting ready spaces, and more that made this venue perfect for their wedding day.
We were gifted warm, sunny weather, with one downfall… a wind advisory all day! Although a hurtle in the moment, with plenty of buffer time and thought-out location scouting, I don’t even think you can tell based off of the photos. When I look through their gallery, I am more focused on the gleaming smile both Ashwin and Caitlin had on the whole day (especially once the reception hit and they could spend time with their friends and family). I loved every second of this day and am so grateful I got to meet these two!
Their wedding was held at White Willow Meadows and organized by the on-site planner, Tamela Richardson, and the stunning florals were provided by Kiwi Blooms. Caitlin’s gown was found at La Jeune Mariee, hair by Rachel Stanley and makeup by Cassie Agullana. And in the evening, dinner was provided by Hudsons Edge Catering and music by Turn Up Columbus.
