Golden hour has a way of creating magic, and Kayla and Collin’s engagement session at Quarry Metropark in Columbus, Ohio was nothing short of enchanting! We lucked out with the most perfect autumn weather and golden skies that made their photos some of my favorites from 2024.
Within their hour long session, I learned just how dynamic and fun these two were. I think it was harder to capture photos with Kayla NOT smiling than it was with! We had the most fun utilizing different prompts throughout their session, having Collin lift and spin Kayla for the most magical photos (yes, it was a workout for all of us)
Quarry Metropark is one of my absolute FAVORITE locations to shoot at because of the gorgeous scenery (seriously, this is Ohio?!?) and perfect sunsets that it creates! Even after the sun has dipped below the horizon the lighting is still great, letting us continue to shoot until the stars start to show in the sky. This evening was so incredible and I can’t wait for their wedding in 2025!
