Today I want to feature Lily and John Vine’s wedding – a couple who brought timeless elegance to life at The Estate at New Albany in May 2023. As a local Columbus Ohio wedding photographer, capturing their classic celebration was an absolute joy!
The all-inclusive venue set the stage with their outdoor patio for the ceremony, offering a picturesque backdrop for vows. The day started overcast, but later broke open to reveal a beautiful golden hour in the evening – basically a wedding photographer’s dream!
At the start of their reception, the couple incorporated a Slovenian Bride Unveiling Tradition that I had never seen before but loved! The maid of honor delicately removed Lily’s veil, replacing it with a flower in her hair. It was followed by music, hugs, and tears from both sides of the family as they came together to celebrate the new marriage.
Lily’s blush pink wedding dress is from Luxe Redux Bridal in Columbus, Ohio, and was paired with the most whimsical, gorgeous heels from Bella Belle Shoes. Her hair and makeup were perfected by Alea Beauty while their florist, Fiori Florals, put the finishing touches throughout their venue. The couple’s reception was completed with dinner by Gourmet Fresh Catering and music by D&M DJ Entertainment!
